about

Released privately in November 2001 and released publicly in October 2008.

This EP contains all the recordings for piano written for the HYPNOTICA project, a jazz-fusion duo for guitar (José L. Cabeza) and piano (José Travieso).

This project was working for a few of sessions during summer and autumn of 2001 and it was expected to release a demo or something like that, but was finally abandoned and the final recordings for piano and guitar weren't made. The actual recordings offers what a part was (the piano), but the guitar lines are not present, thus losing an important part of the richness and musicality of the project. Anyway, better to be able to listen 50% to 0%, isn't it? This is the reason because I decided to release publicly these recordings.

Tracks #1, #3, #4, #5 and #7 co-written with José L. Cabeza.

Painting used in the cover artwork by Erika Stanley. Sleeve design by José Travieso.

This EP was remastered in 2008.
